Biography
Heath Kern Gibson is the Founder and Principal of Cross Lane Search. Heath has focused on partner level search within law firms throughout her search career, first at a leading global legal search firm and now at Cross Lane Search. Heath focuses on placing partners and practice groups in AmLaw 200 firms, as well as premier boutique firms.
Prior to legal recruiting, Heath was the Director of Digital Media at the United States Department of State, where she also launched and was the Editor-in-Chief of the first cabinet level blog. Before assuming this role, she was a television news producer in New York. She was the lead producer for Fox News Channel’s, The O’Reilly Factor, where she focused on investigative reports and politics. She also produced for the Paula Zahn Show and Court TV’s Cochran & Company with Johnnie Cochran.
Heath has an MPA from Harvard University and a BA from Denison University. She serves on the Board of Trustees for EL Haynes Public Charter School in Washington, DC. Heath grew up in New York City and now divides her time between New York and Washington D.C.
